This sweet Oregon winter wedding was definitely one for the books. I’ve known Rachael forever so it was such an honor to capture her and Brady’s big day in Sunriver. While their original plan was knixed due to you-know-what, they made it work and it was honestly so intentional and intimate, I think it turned out better than their plan A. They rented a gorgeous AirBnB and had a snowy backyard ceremony. The house was decorated with winter decor; from a beautiful Christmas tree to garlands and Christmas lights. Rachael is the youngest of three daughters (five siblings total!) and it was so fun to watch her, her wonderful mama, and her two awesome sisters helping her get ready on her big day.  Honestly, my favorite photos I think are of Rachael and her mom exchanging a sweet look while Rachael gets her dress on with her sisters. It makes my heart melt. I absolutely love watching families come together for this day.

Brady and Rachael’s vows were so heartfelt, I could tell almost everyone was holding back tears as they talked about how they met, their fur babies, and all the things they love about each other. After the ceremony, cake from Sweet Life Patisserie and Prince Puckler’s ice cream (IYKYK) was served, drinks were poured, and everyone let loose for the rest of the evening. There was so much laughter and love, and everyone was so excited to just be together for these two wonderful humans as they tied the knot.

I am so honored when couples choose me to document their big day, and even more so when it’s childhood friends. Congrats again Rachael and Brady–here’s to forever! I can’t wait to watch your family grow and you’ll be able to show your future kiddos the photos of you two on your wedding day.

xoxo,

M.
