When two great friends get engaged, it’s such an honor to be included in the process! I’ve known Erica and Alex for years and it was so fun helping Alex plan his proposal. He had the sweetest vision of proposing to Erica at the park where they had their first date eight years prior.  After one run-through, we grabbed all the lights we could and began setting up at the park. He also brought along two deer statues because during their first date they had seen deer walk through the park, so he got these and decorated them with lights! He had grabbed a few of his friends and when he left to grab Tasty Thai dinner for him and Erica, we finished the lights and anxiously awaited their arrival. Alex had blindfolded Erica and began playing the sweetest songs as he led her to the park and sat her down on the swings. He took her blindfold off and they swung on the swings for a while and it literally poured rain for about ten seconds. It was the strangest thing! Then, it stopped! He then led her out onto the make-shift dance floor and they slow-danced before he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!

We all popped out afterward and congratulated the couple! Erica’s sister was there and they couldn’t stop looking at the gorgeous ring (well done, Alex!) Everyone was cheering and so happy, it was such a special moment to be a part of! Congrats again you two!

xoxo,
