Top Oregon Elopement Locations

Choosing where to elope in Oregon can be tough, especially when you have SO MANY beautiful locations to choose from! Don’t fret. As a native Oregon elopement photographer, I’ve been to almost every corner of this state and have a long, long list of beautiful locations for where to elope in Oregon.

From forest to desert, we have it all. While I’ve included some more touristy must-see places in this list, I’ve also included some not-so-crowded locations if you want to elope somewhere secret! (and yes, I still have loads of secret locations up my sleeve, so when you book me I will spill all the beans!)

Desert Elopement Locations

Yes, Oregon has a beautiful high-desert climate on the eastern side of the state! Believe it or not, it’s not just full of trees! And, it really IS the desert: juniper and sage line the trails, your shoes kick up dust, the chilly sunsets are bright purple and pink, and the sky is FULL of stars. Some of my favorite desert locations for an Oregon elopement are Bend, Oregon, the Painted Hills, and the Alvord Desert.

Mountain Elopement Locations

There are too many gorgeous mountain locations for elopements in Oregon, but here are a few that I love: Mt. Hood, the Wallowas, and South Sister.

Water & Forest Elopement Locations

Nothing says Oregon more like crystal clear water and a beautiful forest (and probably some rain, but we won’t mention that here!). Some of my favorite locations that showcase classic Oregon elopement locations are Tamolitch/Blue Pool, Opal Creek Wilderness, and Sparks Lake.

Waterfall Elopement Locations

Another epic Oregon elopement location would be one of the 238 magnificent waterfalls we have! Some favorites for elopements would have to be Proxy Falls, Sahalie Falls, and Silver Falls State Park.

Oregon Coast Elopement Locations

The Oregon Coast is magical. Seriously. There are so many gorgeous coves, little beaches, and hidden wonders along the Oregon Coast Highway. While I haven’t personally been able to explore nearly as much of the coast as I have wanted to, I know of some pretty places that are on my bucket-list! Samuel H. Boardman State Park is one of them. Other beach locations perfect for an Oregon elopement would be Cannon Beach, Cape Kiwanda, and God’s Thumb.

It was so hard to keep this list from going on and on and on, I could talk about beautiful Oregon elopement locations forever! I know I’m pretty bias, but this state has so much to offer, and for how beautiful the views are, you can find some pretty intimate places for you and your partner to say “I do.”
