Fall:My favorite time of year! I had so much fun hanging out with Stacey and Jono and their two sweet pups. I brought them to one of my all-time favorite fall locations and it did not disappoint. The pretty rich greens, the hint of orange and yellow, and the dry field, were the perfect tones for this Oregon fall engagement session. It’s every Oregon engagement photographer’s dream. Plus, watching their two fur babies run around as the sun dipped down was the cherry on top!
There’s something so cozy about fall, it is my favorite season to photograph engagements and elopements in the PNW. The crisp air, the clouds and the fog covered pine trees, make it such a moody and gorgeous backdrop for photos. Plus, it’s the iconic PNW feel!

The Location: Fall Creek, Oregon

There are so many great pull offs along Fall Creek, and I’ve done a ton of location scouting out there! It’s beautiful any time of the year, but fall is especially gorgeous with the dry grass. The creek is low enough that we got to explore around the edge and play in the grassy fields. No hike required, but there are a few trailheads if you want to add a hike to your shoot! Major bonus for this area: it is rarely busy during the shoulder/off seasons. It can get a little busy in the summer, but there are so many pull offs and places to explore you’re bound to have a spot all to yourselves. I can show you the way!

Oregon Engagement Photographer

Taking my couples to fun places is my bread and butter. I love showing them beautiful, cozy spots they may never have known about and capture beautiful memories for them. Having a photographer who knows the area like the back of her hand is a major plus, since I know a ton of locations that are free from crowds. As your Oregon engagement photographer, I love when my couples reach out to me and ask me to help them with choosing a location, because I can always give multiple ideas that they may never have thought of!
