The Elopement Location: Cannon Beach/Indian Beach, Oregon
While Cannon Beach is the most popular spot for its iconic haystack rock, we ended up doing our ceremony on a nearby beach in the Ecola State Park area. Indian Beach is a cozy little cove with easy access (a quick walk down some wooden stairs) with some gorgeous rock formations. Not to mention, the nearby area has some beautiful forests if you’re looking for forest and beach combo! There is also an impressive viewpoint at Ecola State Park where you can see down the coastline-another great photo spot. Also, fun fact, the Twilight La Push beach scenes were filmed here!
There is a day use fee for this area, but it’s worth it when you have so many places to explore!
The Ceremony at Indian Beach
Toni and Ryan spent the afternoon exploring the beach, snuggling up with each other, and watching the waves roll in and out. We couldn’t believe the beautiful weather, and they loved how quiet the beach was, despite the popularity of the area. It’s definitely a favorite spot for elopements looking for a less-crowded option.
It was so fun helping these two plan their sweet Cannon Beach Oregon elopement. I love helping my couples plan out their day so it not only goes smoothly, but they feel like they got everything they wanted (and more!). When you book with me, you won’t have to worry about all the details or if the timeline looks okay-I’ll be there helping you every step of the way!
