I met Logan through writing for The Parks Apparel blog, she runs an amazing blog and Instagram, Her Oregon Life. And then, we realized we had a mutual friend, Casey! I had shot their wedding a few years back and we put two and two together and realized I had met her at the wedding, haha.

Anyways, as both being outdoor enthusiasts, I was so excited when she asked to do her engagement photos along the Mckenzie River. Highway 126 is seriously so pretty, you can’t really go wrong with taking photos anywhere on it. We decided to first meet up at Koosah Falls, where they popped some champagne and snuggle their doggies. Then, we made our way over to Clear Lake to take some photos along the dock and the trail. We talked about wedding ideas, their home reno, photography, and our favorite hikes around Oregon.

They are seriously some of the sweetest and chillest humans I’ve met. It’s so refreshing when you first meet people and instantly just go, “yup, you’re my kind of people.” That’s definitely how it was with these two. But, I also knew that right from the get-go, when they got out of their Subaru with their two dogs (we also have a subaru and two dogs, haha).

Logan and Benji, I can’t freakin’ wait for your wedding in 2021!
