This day felt like it was such a long time in the making but also felt like it came up so fast! Either way, it was such a beautiful day. I first met Hannah and Jon for their engagement session last winter (check it out here) and then their big day for their winter wedding was finally here. Hannah and her bridesmaids got ready at her future in-law’s beautiful house out in Beavercreek. There were scones, puppies, and lots of laughter. The boys were already at the venue: Redland Family Farm. We made our way over there and Hannah and Jon had the sweetest first look. It was lightly misting and made for such beautiful soft winter photos.

Their ceremony was filled with love, and a few tears (even though they tried their hardest NOT to have any, it was too special not to shed a few tears) and these two celebrated as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife. The reception was full of their closest family and friends, and the two best man and maid of honor told some hilarious stories of the couple. It was so clear how in love Hannah and Jon were, everyone there had this calm demeanor that only comes when everyone there is %100 sure this couple is going to be together forever. And I absolutely love when I get that strong of a feeling. Hannah and Jon had their first dances, then cut the cake, and Hannah goes, “oh wow, that’s good,” and instantly cuts herself a second bite; that was probably my favorite part of the night! I love you Hannah, haha. She danced the night away with her besties at her side, and then the two had a sparkler exit with everyone cheering.

Every time I look at these photos I’m instantly brought back to the cool mist, the white walls, and the pine bouquets. I can just feel it, and I hope anyone who sees them, can feel this day too. Hannah and Jon, thank you so much for trusting me in capturing this day for you two and your families. I can’t wait to see where you two go as husband and wife!

xoxo,

M.
