An outdoor Oregon elopement in December sounds crazy, but it turned out to be one of the prettiest elopements I’ve ever had the honor to capture. We met at Wahkeena Falls and Tazmila and Abeer couldn’t stop smiling. I mean, who could on their elopement day?! These two were dressed to the nines and everyone we passed kept saying, “you both look amazing! Congrats!” it was the cutest thing ever. After shooting at Wahkeena and Horsetail Falls, we made our way back into town for their intimate ceremony and signing of the papers at the M.E.T. (Muslim Educational Trust). Tazmila’s parents came from out of the country, along with her brother, to witness her marriage. Their Imam spoke beautiful words of wisdom, papers were signed, hands were shook, and these two became husband and wife!
Thank you again Taz and Abeer for trusting me in capturing this special day for you. I felt so honored and I’m so glad I got to meet you two!
